When will you do first haircut?

My sons hair is growing in kind of awkward in spots and I’d like to trim it a little but I think he would be too squirmy and am scared he’d get stabbed with the scissors. Anyone thinking of trimming their baby’s hair soon?

I had to shave my baby’s head when she was 6 weeks old (cultural thing) luckily all of it came back. 
This was at 4 weeks old

Hair is back already but still some balding spots in the back of her head.

My little one was born with long hair started losing it in the back, except for the very bottom of the back she still have long hair but from her rolling around they pretty much kept turning into tiny dreads and also had random extremely long pieces that flipped out behind her ears so this past week I finally trimmed it all up and boy does it look so much better 😂

Shaved my little boys head at 100 days. It's now growing back even so I think he looks more handsome 😁 I would say shave rather than a trim

Shaved my sons because he was born with a full head then pretty much lost all of it except these random pieces on the side so we made it all even .

My daughter literally has no hair lol so I’m sure it will be a few years before I have to think about it. But personally I would not cut my babies hair this early. I’d probably wait until around a year old. But that’s just me

I want my son to have long hair, so we won't be doing anything for a few years. Plus, he's peach-fuzz right now anyway hahaha

I won’t cut my sons hair until he wants/ it bothers him. But he has very little hair so I’m not worried about it yet

In my culture we don’t cut hairs until they turn 1 so we have to wait 😒
