Help!

My boyfriend still has his ex’s shampoo bottles and stuff in his bathroom and I’ve brought it up to him but he just shrugged it off I know I should trust him but him and his ex was together for 2 years and they have a kid they haven’t been together for a little over a year so I think it’s a little weird that he still has her stuff what should I do?? My toxic trait is just to hold everything in to avoid a fight but then I just explode please I needs advice!!
