Two vessel cord

Went for our anatomy scan at 20 weeks, son wasn’t cooperating. 😭 but the doctor said we have a 2 vessel cord. Doc said it can sometimes effect the heart and kidneys, but they looked very closely at both and they’re doing really well. Heart is very strong. Kidneys are functioning. It can also point to a chromosome defect, but we’ve had that checked as well and all is good.

He said we just get to look at him every 4 weeks because of it.

After 3 miscarriages before 9 weeks I’m trying to stay positive about how far we’ve come. All I want is for him to be healthy. I’ve done a ton of reading to try and reassure myself. But that never helps 😂😭
