Any suggestions/advice for a first time mom?

Hey ladies, I just got my BFP, this will be my husbands and I first child! I have no idea what motherhood is like so if any of you ladies have any suggestions, or advice, or even words of encouragement I’m open to all!

I was so freaked out about giving birth that I spent too much of my time researching and reading up on the birth part. Really a DVD or a class will take care of that. I wish I would have spent my time reading/ researching more on about the baby itself like breastfeeding, sleeping patterns, the first year  etc.

Drink lots of water in your pregnancy and don’t take medicines unless you ask your doctor!

It might seem scary but once you see that baby it’ll be all worth it. It’s ok to make mistakes or not know what to do. It’s ok to ask for help when you don’t know something or need a extra hand or a break. You’ll learn as you go. It’s your baby not anyone else so don’t let anyone make you feel like you have to do something they say or make you feel like your doing something wrong. I have 3 kids going on 4 and I still have a hard time sometimes but it’s the best feeling ever. You teach each other things as they grow up🥰 enjoy every moment
