Am I wrong here??

Am I wrong for not wanting a newer coworker of mine to post pictures of my child on her Facebook? She's only worked with me for 6 months or so and I dont know her all that well. I'm not saying she's a bad person but I dont care some of the people she hangs out with/associates her self with because they are known drug user and whatnot. I dont want to start crap at work but I just have a sick feeling in my gut about her posting them.

I don’t even post my own children on anything online. I’d definitely not be ok with a coworker doing it. Just be honest and straight up say that you don’t want them posting photos of your child.

Definitely bring this up to your boss!! I worked at the Boys and Girls Club and the rules about pictures were very strict. We could only take pictures with the work camera or our boss’s phone and we had to have permission from our boss to take pictures. Plus parents had to sign consent forms for us to post pictures of their kids on our Facebook or official site. I even asked my boss to stop tagging me in the photos because I didn’t like having pictures of the kids I worked with on my Facebook.

I don't even allow my family to post pictures of my child on their social media. I'm happy to share pictures with people in person, but you never know what other people's privacy settings are or who they're friends with.
