Tips for Elvies?

Question

I bought a pair recently to try to help with efficiency when I go back to work in a couple weeks... I’m not in love yet.  I also have a Spectra 1 and am not a huge producer (about 26 ounces in a 24-hour period when exclusively pumping).  I also have to be super hands on with the Spectra to get that yield, so I was hoping the Elvies would help with that.
This AM (my highest time of day), the Elvies got 3.75 between both breasts.  I still felt very full, so I went to the Spectra and got 3 MORE ounces!
Any tips or tricks to help get more with the Elvies?  Hoping to make the most of this pricey investment...

Make sure your bra is tight enough, I find that when my bra is too loose the Elvie doesn't get as much good suction as it could. 
Definitely find the willow and Elvie support group on Facebook, those guys have about a million tips for every situation.

I bought a single Elvie and am not a fan either. I pump about 38 ounces a day with my Spectra and the Elvie doesn’t come close. Like you, I only get like 3 ounces when I pump both breasts and can go directly after to my spectra and get at least that still. I keep trying, but honestly I only ever use it if I have to go somewhere where I know I can’t bring my spectra. I even haul my spectra to work each day to pump.

I power pump while using my elvie. It’s the best thing I’ve purchased so far. I love it and I’m not a huge producer but it gets the job done.
