LGSIL Fear

Makayla • Mama to L 👶🏻, Step-Mama to E 👧🏻, and Fur Mama 🐾🐾

I turned 27 years old this week and the next day I found out my most recent pap came back positive for a low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion. My OB/GYN said that it is typically attributed to HPV, but I was negative for that. He started talking through all of the possibilities and the implications for best case scenario and worst case scenario. I am hoping for the best, but my fear about worst case scenario is overwhelming right now. My partner has been so wonderful and supportive and has said that even if we can’t have an “ours” baby, it doesn’t change how he feels about me. Anyone else have any experience with this?
