What is the most painful part?

Contractions, especially toward the end were more painful than pushing. Pushing actually felt like some sort of relief. The ring of Fire is painful, but for me it lasted only a second and then baby was out 🤷🏻‍♀️

Contractions. Induced with pitocin. Pushing was great. If I could skip labor and go right to pushing, I'd do it a thousand times over lol.

The women Ive spoken to that got the epidural said contractions were because they couldnt feel the pushing. But I did it naturally every time and that ring of fire when you’re pushing is no joke. So for me pushing is the most painful. The contractions are coming back to back and you cant tell the difference between your butthole and vagina, literally thought i was tearing in two. However it’s an instant relief once baby is out

I had no epidural, and had back labor which was the worst thing ever of all time! Once baby turned over i experienced “normal” contractions and they were a breeze after having the back labor for several hours. My baby was stuck behind the pubic bone so the pushing got exhausting after 2 hours. But the worst part was when the doctor wouldn’t let me push and baby’s head was just there in the birth canal(I guess that’s what it would be considered lol ) and it was horrible until I could push. The ring of Fire was awful as well.

With my first baby, I pushed for 3+ hours because his giant head was stuck. That was the most painful part. 
My second baby didn't have the big ol' head and I pushed for 20 minutes. With him, contractions were more painful.

I’ve had back labour with both my pregnancies and for me the contractions felt like my spine was being twisted and broken in a million different places but pushing gave me relief. I actually loved the stage of pushing with both my babies and found I could really focus on how close I was too holding them, which got me through it.
