Mine told me a liter 30 min before my appointment, I would check with where you are having the ultrasound done. From this post’s comments it seems different places may have different preferences

Mine told me and hour before I had to drink 32oz of water. My appointment was at 12 so she said starting at 10 to start drinking and finish it by 11. Ugh I had to pee so bad lol

Mine didn't give me any instruction but I came with a full bladder because that way it's full if they want it or you can empty it really easily if they want it empty. They just had me do my regular urine test before my appointment anyway.

I drank a glass of water 45 minutes before. I know water goes through me fast. Their official recommendation was 2 glasses an hour before but I would’ve exploded in my car.
