Birth stories dealing with cervidal and Pitocin ?

I was induced with cervidal Thursday at 9pm.  started some strong contractions but still nothing, so now I’m on Pitocin, they starting this morning. 
Anyone have any birth stories or experience where the Pitocin helped? I’m only 2cm dilated.

I went in at 6 pm, got Cervidil around 7:30. Contractions an hour later. Epidural by 3:30, baby here by 8! Never needed the pitocin

I had cervidil for 24 hrs then I was given Pitocin. I delivered less than 12 hrs later

I had been fully dilated and pushing for 2.5 hours and my contractions were slowing down so they gave me pitocin to pick them back up. Took another 2.5 hours but I was having more contractions with it so I was able to push my girl to the point where they could use one vacuum pull and get her out

Apperently it makes labor more painful. I was given pitocin aroumd 2pm and had him at 12:46am. Contactions started hard at around 6ish.... Got and epidural around 8ish-9ish.... Started pushing at 11pm. It did move labor along.
