Scared to go to my OB

Ekaterina

I’m 22 and 16 weeks pregnant. Last week I moved back to my hometown and went to the antenatal clinic where I got appointed to an OB (she’s also a head of the clinic).

When I entered, she looked at me with disgust and asked what did I want. I said I was pregnant and got an appointment. She started filling out my paperwork and asked if I had tuberculosis or venereal diseases. I started saying that I had HPV but she interrupted me saying that it’s not a disease and that was all in my head. For 5 minutes she was telling me off for thinking that my pregnancy was a disease ( I never said that)!

When she asked me if I had any problems I said that I have hemorrhage but she just ignored me! And said that it’s in my head again. After the whole thing I was drained and felt down for the rest of the day.

I’m just scared to meet her again next week. I have so many questions about my pregnancy and delivery but I realize that if I ask something I’ll get a lecture on how wrong I am for even asking.

Just wanted to share.
