bf not inviting me?

so my bf is throwing a get together for his friend (who I’ve met & gotten along with & hung out with multiple times), & my bf literally invited everyone except me... even other females & lowkey im really hurt by it. I’ve been with him for 2 years now & know all his friends & we’ve all gone out together multiple times. I’m hurt by the other females being invited because he recently met them & hasn’t even been friends with them for that long. I’m not one to push myself to get invited, but I’m just hurt & wondering why. I know his friends all like me because they ask about me when I’m not around. I don’t know if I should just let it go or if I should be hurt?
He just said “ I’ll see you at night after I’m done hanging out with them” . So wth?

My boyfriend usually just assumes I’ll be there so doesn’t give me a formal invite. He just says he’s doing something and assumes I understand I’m invited to, hence him telling me. If that’s the case and your not comfortable with that assumption talk to him about giving you clear invites in future. If he’s just not inviting you and doesn’t want you there that’s shady.

I would like to add my perspective from a woman who has been in a wonderful communicative relationship for over a year now, but has also been in a super toxic relationship in the past. From what you have described, this scenario has ever only happened to me whenever I was in a toxic relationship with someone who didn’t truly care about my feelings or understood what communication was in a relationship or how a healthy relationship was suppose to be. You are both a team, and it’s never about just you, or just him. It’s what’s best for the both of you. If my boyfriend wants to have a day with just his guy friends without me, that’s cool, even though he usually always wants me there unless otherwise requested from a friend because they want to have a personal conversation, which is completely understandable. However, if he wanted to go to a “group” outing with other females, especially one that he’s planning, and intentionally does not invite me, that’s a HUGE red flag that something else is going on, especially if this is out of the norm. Those females are new to him, and there is absolutely no reason for you not to be there.

Honestly, unless it’s a bachelor party, I would be upset and hurt too. It’s one thing for him to be the only one invited, but since he’s planning it... let’s not get started. It’s shady and questionable. If he won’t give you an answer, leave.
