Breast feeding after bottle feeding

My little boy is 5 days old and I breast fed the first day. I then switched to formula feeding as I found it difficult to keep him satisfied and after a c section found it easier. Now that I'm home and relaxed a bit more and my boobs full I feel like I would like to try it again but not sure if it's possible. Would anyone have any advice please? Mu midwife is calling later and plan to ask but would like other mums with first hand experience to the pros and cons.
