Did you travel or have children first

Question

I’d like to hear your experiences with either waiting to have children until you’re well traveled, or having children first.
I have never been out of the country and would love to see more of the world, but my baby fever is so damn strong. 
Has anyone traveled with children and managed to do it well? I know it makes things a little more complicated. Let me know!

I'm in the same boat, especially now that my sister had her daughter the baby fever is REAL. We're planning on maybe traveling some in the next couple years then trying to have a baby after that. But I imagine we won't stop traveling just because we have kids. Sure, it'll change it, but I'd want to show my kids the world as well

We traveled first and then had kids. We both lived abroad before we met and teach world languages so traveling is really important to us. We went to Japan one summer and Eastern Europe the next. It took us longer than anticipated to get pregnant, but we wouldn’t have changed a thing and we still travel, although not as extensively. We went to Banff for our fifth wedding anniversary and took our two year old to NYC this past fall. You can still travel with kids although it may look a little different than before.
