Trouble breathing???

Anyone else out there having trouble breathing? Any cause for this? I’m 17 weeks and barely showing. I’ve felt like there’s an elephant on my chest since I found out I was pregnant. Just doesn’t feel like I can catch my breath. I forgot to ask my doctor at my last appt so I will ask her next week but just curious if anyone else is having trouble breathing so early.

Yes mine had gotten better but going up the stairs, I get very winded. It's hormones and since your body is making more blood your heart has to work harder to pump all of it. But like someone else said, if you are really struggling to breathe you should call your doc!

Yes, I hate it. I feel out of breath ALL the time. My midwife said it's normal and something to do with hormones.

It can be normal but you should be sure. It sounds like yours might be extreme. Call your doctor if it’s affecting you!

I’m 15 weeks and I get out of breath so easily have had this for several weeks now. I think it’s fairly common but I am going to ask my doctor about it at my next appointment.
