I’m currently 13+3 and we have a cruise planned for Saturday -Thursday. It’s a closed loop cruise leaving from New Orleans and stops in Cozumel and Progresso. I am not super concerned but DH is worried. Our OB did not seem very concerned either. She said to just keep an eye on the CDCs website and wear bug spray. DH says he wouldn’t be as worried if I were not pregnant but with everything that I feel is being blown out of proportion he is worried. Would you cancel or just be cautious like normal? I teach so currently I’m more aggravated that people were not this concerned about the flu when it had a third of our student body out but that is just me. I know that this is new and they just don’t know much about it but so was SARS, bird flu, swine flu, and all the others that we have lived through.
