Taking preventive measures to avoid tearing?

Just wondering if any of you lovely mommas have taken preventive steps to avoid tearing, and what your outcome was.

Only push when they tell you to. Stop when they tell you to stop. (Not pushing us very hard btw because your body forces you to)

Perineal massage. Life saving. Didn’t tear with both labors and my daughter had shoulder dystocia.

Did nothing, had a big baby and did not tear at all. Part of it is your body and part can be how your doctor delivers your baby. Mine did this weird stretching this very slowly until he was out

I herd massaging olive oil on your cooch only on the outside though can help it.

I did nothing and it was my first baby and I had no stitches. Only some small tears

My doctor had hot water he splashed on me while I was pushing to draw blood to the area and loosen it. That was awesome maybe yours can do that for you

I did absolutely nothing and I avoided Kegals. I had a small internal tear not to bad I had to have a few stitches.
