You Can Bleed While Pregnant?!
So I’m pregnant. And when I stood up, I had some blood on my pants. It was slightly brown and immediately went and showered and cleaned my clothing. My fiancé thought I has defecated on myself. I explained that that wasn’t the case and that I just bled. He didn’t believe blood could be brownish reddish and didn’t believe you could bleed during pregnancy without it meaning miscarriage. I explained that since we just had sex the night before that this was normal as long as I wasn’t cramping or passing clots. I had to go into full blown sex Ed with him. He still isn’t grasping it. I’m agitated because how can someone in their 40s be so...uneducated?! And annoying about this?! He acted like a 12 year old. I refuse to be embarrassed, it’s a normal bodily function for a female. I told him if he was so “curious” I had no problem having my OB explain this process to him. How do I explain this to him without putting him down? Because he’s questioning everything I say. Like, “how can you have blood when you haven’t had a period?” And “it looked like poop, if you pooped just tell me” 🙄🙄 why would I lie?! I even told him that it came from my vagina, he said “your vagina or your butthole?” Like do I not know what my own vagina is?! I even showed him the blood coming coming from my vagina and he still doesn’t understand how it’s possible.
