Pediatrician just thinks his rash is eczema...

(No pic of rash because baby is currently sleepin’!)

Baby has had a rash all over his body for the past ~2 weeks. It’s gotten better with better quality lotion and occasional use of hydrocortisone, but it is still there. The pediatrician didn’t seem too concerned.

However, the little guy has been coughing and wheezing for a couple days (maybe getting through a could, but it’s also a sign of a food allergy apparently). He always wheezes when sick fyi, nothing new.

Today for dinner we did BLW (he just tasted/tried to bite some cucumber, shredded cheese, and spinach ravioli. He got really upset (I think he prefers purees) so I gave him some yogurt. He ate more than he usually does but he kept opening his mouth wide so I kept feeding since he was hungry.

30 mins later after his bath, he vomits for the first time ever. He wasn’t upset or in pain before or after throwing up. Yesterday he also had diarrhea but it’s since gone. He has had 1-3 days of diarrhea several times over the last 6 months.

I’ll also add that he has always spit up A LOT. He’s on thickened formula but he still goes through so many outfits a day (and so do I), even at 6 months old. He’s also always been a super fussy baby... in the back of my mind, I always wondered if he had issues with cow’s milk. But I’d bring up my concerns and his doctors brushed it off. Said everything was normal.

What do you think? Any similar experiences? Is it just eczema and random vomiting after maybe too much yogurt? Maybe I need to cut back to 1 type of food per day to check for food allergy? (We were told we didn’t need to due to literally zero food allergies in the family).

Of course I will talk to his doctor, but looking for other opinions in the meantime.
