Confused cervix

Okay so you know when you ovulate there’s the day OF, and then the next day where the egg lives for 12-24 hrs ok I had sex the day after that. I used the sponge and the vaginal film (both spermicide) I felt the sponge block my cervix and kept it within 6 hours after my last sex. Now my cervix felt soft over the past few days and now today it is firm but I am getting this creamy milky mucus and I’m getting bad cramps a week before my period which is normal to me I always have horrible periods. I’ll get a pregnancy test but I want to hear your thoughts cuz I am confused.
