Two sacks one baby?

Anyone else have multiple sacks but just one baby? My OB said it would most likely resorb but sometimes it doesn’t and can cause complications. Anyone else have this? 7w 1d

It’s not always another sac. The black blob you see in mine here looks like a second sac but it’s actually a collection of blood (I had a SCH).

When you get pregnant a cyst form on the ovary that the egg can from. This disappears as the pregnancy progresses. Why you’re seeing isn’t another sac.

I had a second sac with my first that never formed anything inside and eventually went away . They said it was likely vanishing twin

Yep I had the same issue but my baby is doing well. This is at 7 weeks. I’m currently 11 weeks doctors said the just gestational sack will disappear with in the months

I told I had a blighted ovum/vanishing twin with my first at my first ultrasound, in addition to a healthy baby. Two weeks later (day before my follow up ultrasound) I bled and was told to go to the ER. They scoffed that I had been told that and said I was a SCH. 🤷🏼‍♀️ will never know. I reabsorbed the rest of the SCH. But I do wonder if my first born was supposed to be a twin or not.
