Brown spotting in early pregnancy??

Has anyone else has this experience, did you figure out why? And did everything turn out fine?

The nurse I talked to explained as the placentas forming and taking over, it’s disrupting things and braking blood capillaries and because it’s brown it’s just old blood that’s been dislodged

Yes!! I freaked out. Called my OB and he saw me at 6 weeks. I had horrible cramps as well, so I was convinced it was the worst. When I went in, my doctor said it’s probably residual implantation bleeding. My cervix was closed and I saw the baby in the ultrasound! Even found the heartbeat. ❤️ Brown spotting doesn’t necessarily mean bad! Make sure to monitor and if it turns red then call your OB. I would say go to the ER, but with corona you might want to see what your OB says.
