I’m just casting my anxiety on here in hopes that maybe I feel better.

This is my third pregnancy. They have always not been able to see some things in the anatomy scan. For my first it was her lower spine. For my second it was all four chambers in her heart. At my 18 week ultrasound I was told they would do another scan at 28 weeks because my placenta is low lying and they couldn’t see all chambers of the heart. They also couldn’t see his right hand. Renal dilation in his kidneys was detected too. I was told not to worry about the kidney thing because he was probably just peeing. But the fact that they want to do a scan at my next appointment in three weeks has me worried. I asked over the phone but the receptionist, of course, had no

idea. Why so soon? Did they see something worrying?

All my fluid levels were fine and they said he was a healthy growing boy.

Trying to just relax and be excited about seeing baby boy again. This pregnancy is my last and it has me feeling so anxious!
