This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2Tim 3:1-5

Not in the sense that the world is ending soon. Yes in the biblical sense, that Jesus is coming back any day now. We’ve always had the problems we’re having now. These times aren’t anything special. If you want a major outbreak, look to the bubonic plague. If you want crazy wars, look to the religious wars of medieval Europe. If you want times of persecution, definitely don’t look to now. Point is, right now is very tame, the media just likes to create drama. The media treats life like how the Bachelor treats its own show.

We now have

War on a large scale.​—Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:4.
Great earthquakes.​—Luke 21:11.
Famine.​—Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:​5, 6.
Love of God growing cold in most people.​—Matthew 24:12.
Noteworthy displays of religious hypocrisy.​—2 Timothy 3:5.
Increased understanding of Bible prophecies, including those related to the last days.​—Daniel 12:4.
Global preaching of the good news of the Kingdom.​—Matthew 24:14.
World conditions as well as Bible chronology indicate that the last days began in 1914. At that time, God’s Kingdom began ruling in heaven, and one of its first actions was to expel Satan the Devil and the demons from heaven and restrict their activity to the earth. (Revelation 12:​7-​12) Satan’s influence on mankind can be seen in many of the bad attitudes and actions that make the last days “critical times hard to deal with.”​—2 Timothy 3:1.
The phrase “the end of the world,” which appears in many Bible translations, can also be rendered as “the conclusion of the system of things,” or “the close of the age.” (Matthew 24:3; English Standard Version) It refers, not to the destruction of the earth or of all humanity, but to the end of the framework of human society.​—1 John 2:​17.
When will the world end?
Jesus said: “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36, 42) He added that the timing of the end would be unexpected, “at an hour that you do not think to be it.”​—Matthew 24:44.
Even though we cannot know the exact day and hour, Jesus did provide a composite “sign,” or group of events, that would identify the time period leading up to the end of the world. (Matthew 24:​3, 7-​14) The Bible refers to this period as “the time of the end,” “the end times,” and “the last days.”​—Daniel 12:4; God’s Word Bible; 2 Timothy 3:​1-5.
If you want to survive the passing of this world and ‘remain forever,’ what should you do?
Our survival involves being devoted to Jehovah God and learning about the kind of conduct and deeds that please him. “Seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth. Who observe his righteous decrees. Seek righteousness, seek meekness....” -Zephaniah 2:3

Well our timing is different than God’s timing. God’s “soon” could be 5 years from now while your “soon” could be a month from now. So are we living in the last days? We can say yes or we can say no, but our perspective of the “last days” might not be accurate...but personally..I believe we are approaching those times.

Yes it is, and the Scriptures do refer to here .. Jesus will come soon! And he won’t just come and leave but the whole world will end. He’s coming to take his children with him to heaven. Resurrection will occur too so the faithful will rise and go with him as well. so that would mean that when we die we do NOT go to heaven right away, if we all went to heaven there would be no point in a resurrection, right? So when we die, that is it we’re just dead. No memory of anything. The earth will be destroyed, nothing will exist ..when Christ does come, it will be the end of the world. And these aren’t just my ridiculous beliefs either, this is straight from the Bible! These scriptures back up my belief...
• Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Not in order but These are my scriptures that back up my comment but to answer the main question, yes I believe we’re In the last days .. what 2 Timothy 3:1-5 days we’re seeing all over. It’s been like this over the years but it has gotten worse and will get more worse. We’re closer but the lord says not to fear! These things will come to pass but if we have Christ , he will take care us through the troubles.
