Did I mess up????

I'm 10wks pregnant. My husband and my cousin have been redoing our bathroom. They put in a new tub and sink, well they were using the glue stuff to connect the pipes together, I was sitting in the kitchen I wasn't able smell it but my mother in-law said it smelled bad and I should leave the room. When she told me that I did leave the room, did I screw up by sitting out there... Will it cause harm to the baby???

It would've been probably ok, even if you were the one using the glue there... Occasions that are short term and happen only once, are ok. If ypuglue bathtubs every day, then it will be harmful.

Don’t worry about it. If you couldn’t even smell it you obviously weren’t close enough to it for it to be an issue. And honestly it wouldn’t be concerning unless you were around it for long periods of time in a confined space anyways.

Unless you sat there and huffed it, or were trapped in a room without any ventilation, then it’s not an issue.
