Is this normal, middle of night hunger

Does anyone else wake up to pee at 2 or 3 am and you are so hungry you can't fall back asleep? I'm 12 weeks and this happens to me almost every night. I have to get up at make whole grain toast with peanut butter or something similar. I'm reading that night time hunger this bad could signify gestational diabetes. Btw, I'm definitely eating enough during the day and for dinner etc.
