When did you tell your immediate family (parents, siblings and their spouses) you were pregnant?

Comment if you waited for a particular milestone. If so, what was it?
I’m asking because both my husband and I have a decent sized family. 3 to 4 siblings each, all married. 
I really want to keep the news just with the immediate family especially before the first trimester. But there are people in my family that love spreading news. 
Have any of you dealt with this before? How do I tell them to keep it to themselves?

I told my husband and sister right away. I waited 12-13 weeks before telling my parents. My mom has 4 sisters, so telling my mom is telling the entire family.

I told my family immediately for this pregnancy. My last one I waited till about week 7 or 8 and found out week 10 that baby died around week 8. His family wasn't told till after I miscarried for the last one. We told them about this one right as I hit 2nd trimester.  I'm 25 weeks and haven't officially announced anything yet but aren't hiding it.

I told my husband 3 days after finding out (I was putting together his announcement). I told my family after I reached 9 weeks (longest I’ve ever made it), and told everyone else at 12 weeks.

I told them as soon as we had the first ultrasound and could use the pictures as the announcement

We only told my mom at 5 weeks and made her keep the secret until 14 weeks when we saw all of our family and were ready to share. I know it was killing her but she didn’t tell anyone. We let my sister announce for us to some family at thanksgiving
