Spotting a little bit more

I’m almost 5 weeks and I started spotting but now it’s darker in color and I changed my panty liner to a pad. I went to the doctor today but all they did is blood work and im nervous for the results. I just wanted to make sure I’m still pregnant so I took a test and it was positive had this happened to anybody ??
