Bleeding like on period

I’m around 5 weeks and Tuesday I started spotting. I realized it after I finished cleaning and I took a shower. It continued for the rest of the day and then yesterday it changed and i started bleeding with cramps and it’s still going on right now. I went to doctor and had blood work done. Still waiting for those results but I’m so scared I just wanna know why and want to make sure everything is ok. Should I go to the ER?
