Stitches haven’t dissolved

I’m almost 6 weeks pp and had a 3rd degree tear as well as multiple lateral tears in my labia. I canceled my 6 week appointment until the whole Coronavirus stuff is less prominent in my area (I live in CA). I noticed recently that my stitches still have not dissolved, and my OB definitely told me they are supposed to dissolve within 6 weeks.

Has anyone else had this happen? Not looking forward to getting them removed - having them put in was a very long and excruciating process that I’m still traumatized from.
