What’s everyone’s theories on when this whole thing will end?

I know no one actually KNOWS obviously! Just curious what everyone thinks...
Me personally, I think once the warm weather hits it will die off because of the humidity.

Because China isn’t seeing new cases, I think if everyone takes their quarantine seriously we’ll stop seeing new cases by end of May and life will go back to normal. If people are idiots and don’t take their quarantine seriously then this could go on for the rest of the year or longer.

They say peak is in about 5-6 weeks. If we don’t have a bunch of morons wandering around infecting people we should be good by between the end of May to mid June.

Warm weather and/or humidity seems to not be a factor for killing this virus. You see tons of cases in places where it’s warm and humid year round. I think this may last until the end of summer. If people in the US actually listened and stayed home it would probably get better in a shorter time period.￼

My bf who works in icu thinks it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Because no one is taking it seriously. Well most people aren’t. An entire family who was sick walked into the ER and he was exposed to all of them..

I’m hoping May. Considering there are cases in warm climates, I don’t think the summer heat is what will do it. Especially since it’s everywhere, even in both hemispheres

This thread is giving me a serious panic attack.

Well in my state they shut down a bunch of businesses and TONS of people were fired over night. And on top of that the governor decided not to do a moratorium on evictions.
So I would say the panic will probably end like when landlords start handing out eviction notices in a couple weeks. 
As far as infections....well they only bother testing the really sick, lots more people probably got exposed and had just minor symptoms and got over it, but that doesnt generate clicks

They are saying 18 months before this whole thing is finally over. Cases are continuing to grow, China isn’t being 100% honest about their numbers, more people are dying in Italy, this isn’t over, not even close. It’s going to get worse.

I think whole 2020. Almost all the pandemic lasted for like a year or two. No matter the weather. So I don't see how will this be an exception unless the virus mutates soon. I hope it ends soon I just want my normal life back
