Spotting

So recently my cycle time changed from the end of the month to the beginning of the month. I’ve recently noticed something new though that hasn’t happened before. I’ve been spotting in between my periods and right before? Is this normal or not? I thought about making an appointment for it but have decided not to because of self quarantining. I’ve never had sex too. Thanks for any advice any one can give!
