Has anyone used raspberry leaf tea for inducing labor?

I’m a first time mom hoping my baby comes a little bit before my due date I was wondering has anyone tried this and did it work? If he doesn’t come before 39 weeks I’ll be induced at 39+1 but I’m scared to get induced so I’m trying to find natural ways of going into labor.

Red Raspberry Leaf Tea does not induce or cause contractions. I drank it for 7 years while ttc and ALL throughout 2 pregnancies. You get the best benefits from long term use. It strengthens the uterus so that contractions are effective during labor, regulates hormones and helps with uterine recovery after birth. I had both kiddos at 41+1. Contractions were extremely effective and I healed quickly after for both births.

Why do so many people seem to thing raspberry leaf tea induces labor?? It doesn’t! It strengthens and tones your uterus. You’re supposed to start taking it at 32 weeks or so for it to have any effect.

You could use evening primrose oil to help ripen the cervix. Don't use it before 37 weeks though. 
Is there a reason they're inducing you early? There's really nothing wrong with staying pregnant up until 42 weeks as long as you and baby are healthy.
