29 weeks pregnant and covid 19 positive

Ch

Hi ladies,

I am an occupational therapist assistant working at a school district. Two weeks ago I found out I was exposed to a child who’s family member came up positive. That night I started running a fever and dry cough. Upon advice from my midwife and PCP I spent last Friday in the ER getting tested. I JUST got my results and am positive. Honestly what I had was very mild, but I still am nervous about it this virus had/will have any impact on my little Owen. He’s been moving around every day fine, but I can’t help but worry about the future. I know it’s hard but take comfort in knowing that we are all in this together and will get through it yes it’s hard to think about the things we will miss out on as first time moms going through this especially, but we are still bringing a new life into this crazy world and we will find a way to protect them. Hope this encourages any other moms to be who have tested positive to come forward and share.
