Foundation & nose piercings

I have both nostrils pierced and I’m currently wearing studs. The last few months I’ve noticed whenever I wear foundation it gets kinda flakey & separates around my nose piercings. At first I thought it was the foundation I was using but then I noticed that I have dry skin around my piercings. So for the past few months I’ve made sure to moisturize better but it’s still hella flakey around my piercings with or without make up.

Has this happened to any of you? Any tips / tricks?
