Needing advice

Hello ladies I just started talking to someone he’s really sweet and nice. But he use to date my boys father friend for the longest time I mean we never hang out or anything I haven’t seen her in over a year I wouldn’t consider her a friend at all. She broke up with the guy who I am talking to 4 months ago for a guy who I use to talk to a couple months ago I am not sure how that ended up happening but I could care less me and him haven’t talked in a long time does this make me a bar person ???
