Using my third IUD now. I wouldn’t consider another form of birth control. Not only do I not have to do anything, it has made a number of issues stop completely. I also don’t get a period at all, which is a huge bonus for me.

I would do an IUD if I had to because I’m not good at doing the same thing at the same time every single day and I’m very forgetful

I like that I can stop the pill at any time and I’m pretty squeamish about inserting things in/through my vagina, I don’t even like tampons. So really the pill and patch have only been the options I’m comfortable with.

Can you manage to not forget a pill? If not then go with mirena.

I'll never use another IUD

I can only do the mini pill, if I were to do hormonal bc. All other pills cause me serious issues.
I won’t do any kind of IUD due to the risks associated with it. My friend had one and it slid out of placed and caused severe uterine scarring. She had a lot of issues getting pregnant after that. I already have PCOS, I don’t need to reduce my chances of getting pregnant any more than they already are.
