What are some open minded denominations?

Question

I’m looking to get back into faith again. I was a Christian a couple years ago but fell out of it because I was not acting godly whatsoever. I’ve done plenty of things that I would consider sinful. 
Such as having an abortion. I also am bisexual. Are there any denominations of Christianity that would accept who I am and my past? I want to start going to church but have no idea where to start. I’ve heard denominations such as Mormonism and Jehovah Witness are super strict so I don’t think I’d fit in there.

Answer

One of the important things about a Christian community is not that it makes us feel good and agrees with everything we do. We should feel accepted in the sense that none of us are perfect, but it’s also important to find a church that will lovingly challenge us to be more like Christ. I would suggest finding a church that loves its members no matter what, but still stands strong on the Bible. Otherwise either that church will condemn and it will only hurt and won’t let you grow, or it has no standards, therefore won’t have God, and is useless for your faith.

Christian is Christian it’s whether or not you believe in God or not. I would look at going to a couple different churches and “testing” them out. Find what fits you if that makes sense
