Appreciation Post for my Husband

This is my husband, best friend, love of my life, most fantastic human being I’ll ever know. He has the kindest heart I’ve ever met in anyone, and it takes so much for him to be accepting of things he does.

He’s been working for his company for three years. In those three years, he’s already been asked to be a plant manager TWICE but we came to a decision that he didn’t feel comfortable with that yet nor did we want to uproot our lives and move to a new state yet. And this is BEFORE they ever even asked him to be a lead. (He works for a sheet metal plant btw). Now they’ve asked him to be a lead about a month ago, and he’s so modestly proud of it, but scared all the same. I asked him how work is going today on his lunch break and he said “good, but I feel really bad because I feel like a terrible lead.” I asked him why he thought that and he says just because they fell behind in production yesterday. I asked if his uppers are mad about that and he said no. I told him then it’s expected. It’s a big job, and it’ll take longer than a day to get it done. You got this, and I’m proud of you. He perked up a little bit but still left pretty upset.

Y’all don’t have to say or do anything, I just wanted to vomit appreciation somewhere for him so his coworkers wouldn’t see me point out what an incredibly soft/kind hearted man I have lol. ❤️
