16 follicles 12 eggs retrieved

Hey ladies!

I had my egg retrieved today and even though we had 16 follicles...we only got 12 eggs.

Do you all think that is a good number?

We have male factor (boarder line low sperm count and morphology) and everything as far as me goes has come back great, no ovarian reserve issues, and estrogen and progesterone where exactly where the dr wanted them. I’m 34 years old

Any insight into your own retrieval (success/failures) would be much appreciated!

I feel pretty disappointed with only 12 eggs retrieved 😑😩
