Anyone else having their parents come visit their grandchildren during this pandemic? My husband had his mom come over today and now I’m freaking out, she doesn’t work or anything right now but I’m still worried ! She kissed my 2 year old

We’re not seeing anyone and I am so sad about it. We’ve been on lockdown for over 2 weeks, my toddler misses her grandparents so much! Yesterday was my bday, they came by (when toddler was sleeping bc she would run straight up to them and there is no way i could tell her not to hug her Grammy and Papa). I cried as we chatted from a distance, they drove an hour to stand apart and wave to my infant. They have been in quarantine too, so unlikely any of us have it, but that is what everyone thinks and look at where the country is now. Our only hope of slowing the spread is to isolate. It’s so sad, but hopefully will save lives.

We will not be seeing any family until this is contained. No way my son could stay 6 feet away from family and would be devastated to not be able to hug them. We video chat with everyone a few times a week which is amazing. We are not taking this issue lightly even though we are considered low risk. It's one thing to get sick, it's a whole other issue to be spreading it (possibly unknowingly) to parents or grandparents. Not a risk we are willing to take.

Both of my parents stopped coming over about 3 weeks ago. We have been doing social distancing in our community. It would be completely inappropriate here right now for people to hang out at each others houses. You get hard core shamed for taking walks at parks *Before they closed* a week ago. 
I mean there is tape in the grocery store telling you where to stand. People are bleaching their food before bringing it inside. I'm not sure if the rest of the world is on that level lol, but my parents are not leaving their house for anything.. Especially not play dates. 😆😅

Nope, we are not. We usually go to my husbands parent’s house 3 days a week for dinner and to hang out with them. We haven’t done this in a couple weeks. If we do decide that we will be around them, no one will touch anyone and we will stay outside. Not going into anyone else’s house or having anyone else in ours. I was so angry the other day, because our neighbors, who traveled a little over a week ago(dumb), were supposed to be self quarantined for 2 weeks. Well, he told my husband that he didn’t think they’d make it (this was on day 4). The next day, he left his house and returns with his truck filled with mulch. I think it’s safe to say that he went to Lowe’s. Then his wife went somewhere also. Then, that afternoon, people started arriving at their house for a BBQ. Wtf?! Seriously?! I think they stayed under the 10 people rule but they had people inside their house. And they definitely didn’t practice social distancing. Then, the next day, I saw him walking on our street with his granddaughter while holding her hand. She’s only a little over 1 year old. God help them
If they find out they helped spread this thing.

Yes. Honestly, from what I have heard it's pretty much a question of when not if, they are just trying to flatten the curve right now. Plus there are still 0 deaths under 9 years old out of all the cases globally. So unless your stressed for yourself, but unless you have a pre-existing condition your probably fine too. 
I mean, yes I'm going to be cautious, but no I'm not going to completely cut off the entire world 😅

Unfortunately no. MY daughter talks to everyone via FaceTime everyday. She keeps asking my in-laws can you come over my house. She’s so used to them coming here to babysit
