confused

so my period is pretty wild i have very short breaks in between each one but this week i never got my period i was expecting it on the 25th bc it always happens a day or 2 after the listed “ovulation day” (side note: once i put in my new period the ovulation day switchs) but they’re always either 10-11 days apart, anyways my period is about 5-6 days late no spotting but i have been having some cramps not as debilitating as period ones but still pretty painful, i took a pregnancy test today but it came back negative i’m wondering if maybe i should give it a few more days and test again bc i’ve already missed my period completely i would have been off it today or yesterday
