different culture/poc advise please

anyone else thats colored had issues going into a white family? 😆 like they’re so different than mine and i don’t mind at al...it’s basically just his mom and him cause his fam is mostly in europe ....but his mom is super controlling/toxic when she wants to be and weird when it comes to like culture and you don’t agree w her views ever when it comes to opinions on stuff people of color go through. my family is big and i’m used to a lot of people and multiple things she’s shown you make you not want to be a part of it ... opinions pls )-: advice? i really love him
