Should I just drop him?

I send him positive affirmations quite frequently and he doesn’t respond. He doesn’t say thank you and he doesn’t reciprocate. Kinda tired of it.

He started a new job today and I sent this to him this morning and he didn’t respond but he’s been posting on Instagram.

This may seem so minuscule but combined with everything else going on in our relationship (him moving away & only speaking to me for 10/20 minutes a day while having a ton of free time), I’m beginning to think that he just really doesn’t give a single fuck. I respond to his every text and answer his every call and I’m the one that’s been working all day every day, but I can’t get even close to the same and he has all of the time in the world. I’m really trying to hold onto this relationship and make it work but he just shows that he really doesn’t have an interest in talking to me anymore.

have you already discussed with him about this? he might have a different way of showing affection/appreciation. if you've already talked to him about it a few times and saw no attempt at progress, then definitely do what's best for you.

I think you should first tell him that you need to talk to him more and he needs to show more affection for you. 
If he doesn’t, maybe you should break up with him. Because you obviously need that in a relationship.

This is something that I’ve talked to him about and we got in a huge argument about it. He makes it seem as though he has no time to text at any given time of the day (even though he doesn’t have a job), our phone calls are 5 minutes long and few and far between, and he makes it seem like I’m needy and clingy when I ask for more time. 
I haven’t complained about it within the last week or so because I’m honestly at the point where I’m going to fall back.

Should I just drop him?
