Bladder pressure 27 weeks

I’m almost 27 weeks and last night I started getting bladder pressure that’s pretty uncomfortable. Feels somewhat similar to the start of a uti but kind of comes and goes in waves and it doesn’t hurt or burn when I pee it feels like a pressure and feels better after I pee then sort of starts up again. I contacted my dr and am going to go in for a urine culture tomorrow but has anyone experienced something similar ? I’m just wondering if it is just the pressure of the baby or uterus causing this discomfort.
