When to Upgrade Car seat

Does anyone know when we’re supposed to upgrade the car seats? 
We have a Grace Click Connect and our LO’s feet are starting to hang over the edge a bit, so it made me wonder. 🤔

Just look at the height and weight limits in the user guide.

We switched bc the straps were too low on her shoulders..does that make sense? Like when you put the straps of her shoulder, the whole they come out of were behind her back, not her shoulders like they should be. So it was too tight

Overhanging feet doesn’t mean anything, check the height and weight limit online or in your manual. You can switch to a convertible seat whenever you want, we did at 8 months because he was way too heavy to carry around in the infant seat

We had the Graco snugride click connect and if I remember correctly it has a weight limit of 35 pounds and a height limit of 32 inches (or until head is 1″ below top of seat). But I would check the manual just to make sure.That being said you do not have to wait untill those limits are reached to upgrade seats, you can do it anytime before then.

We went to a convertible when LO was 7 months. She had super chunky legs so she didn’t fit in her graco snugride very comfortably
