You can either use filtered or distilled water, and you can also find gallons of "baby" or "infant" water at the grocery store! When using powdered formula, we make a whole days worth and refrigerate it because our baby won't eat if we make it when needed and shake the bottle (too many bubbles). For this, I use our electric kettle and boil the water because the powder mixes in easier and we also don't have to waste the gallons of water we have if we are just staying at home. Always test the temperature of the formula on your wrist before giving it to them. Every baby is different, ours won't drink it if it's too hot or ice cold, she prefers around room temp....if you make it and it's too hot, the easiest thing to do is fill a bowl with ice and roll the bottle around in it!

I use nursery water for the convenience. The area i live i have to boil the water (we have well water). But its annoying when you have a screaming baby at 3 am and you have to wait for the water to boil and cool.Nursery water is only 90 cents, people act like its high way robbery buying it but i disagree. I 100 percent rather spend the 90 cents than mess with boiling water when i could be doing something else more productive.

I use filtered tap water in our Baby Breeza. When hes hungry I just push a button and it mixes the water and formula together at the temperature you set it too. It's like a Keurig for babies 😍

The reason you need to use boiled water is because of the bacteria in the formula.

I use room temp regular bottle water. If I was using tap water I would boil it.

I used filtered tap water. I never boiled it so I can't give advice on how long to let it boil or cool.

Tap water. “Nursery water” is just regular water with a fancy label to charge you more.
