I’m confused on the genetic testing!

So I went in today to get the genetic testing done for my little baby and I have seen that there’s some women that the doctor called them and was able to tell them the gender early from the genetic test. Do you have to ask for that or will they just call you and tell you I am confused on that and I would like to know the gender early because that would be pretty cool. They told me today that they think it’s a girl that they’re 60% sure it’s a girl but they won’t know until the 20 week scan. But I know the genetic test can tell you to but I don’t know if you have to ask for that or if they just do it and will tell you in a phone call.
