How late is too late for your period?
My periods finally started getting regular. Now this month I’m 7 days late. How long until I should email my doctor for a late period when TTC?

You don’t need to call your doctor at all. Just take an EPT and see what it says first.

I’m 20 days late and still haven’t gotten a period or bfp. I’m just gonna wait it out see what happens and not stress about it. With my first pregnancy I didn’t even get a bfp till I was over 6 weeks pregnant

If your that late you haven’t ovulated or have but late. The after the ovulation the later your cycle will be. My doctor has me contact him if I go past 40 days.

Lots of things can cause your period to be late. Usually stress from the ttc process. I went on vacation in October and was upset bc I knew my period was due that same week but it never ended up coming in the entire 10 days we spent on vacation. My cycle ended up being 46 days long due to the stress of traveling. I called my doctor on cycle day 46 and set up an appointment to get in the following week but wound up getting my period the next day. I would call if you get to around 2 weeks late.

Two weeks is considered normal. There could be lots of reasons - from stress to sole hormonal changes or imbalances. If you’re late more than that - talk to a doctor.
