So as a little background my ex and I broke up about a year ago, somewhere around there. Anyways, we both work for the same company but we work at separate locations. We are both supervisors in some form of the sense. I am a supervisor of a whole store while he is a lower level supervisor of just one department (so his boss and I are equals) so because of this, we do have to interact with certain things involving employees transferring stores, borrowing equipment, etc. but he messages/calls me everyday...it’s usually always work related, but I feel everyday is unnecessary especially when his boss doesn’t contact me that frequently. And the conversations sometimes lead into what’s going on in his personal life or mine. I’m somewhat confused and wondering if anyone has any type of advice on what his motives may be and how to handle the situation or maybe that I’m over thinking it?
